Master Bedroom

We recently set up a little photo shoot in our bedroom.  Our Bedroom has become my favorite room in the house, full of light and color.  It gets the perfect amount of light for pictures and lifting one’s spirits.

My favorite piece of art seen here, use to be in the living room but I moved it here to the bedroom, added a pink tissue paper flower to draw out the pink of the Turkish rug, a family photo and then an ancient church key that I found here in Southeast Turkey.  The twine wrapped jars and yarn flowers on the right were made by and remind me of my sweet friend Tiffany.  I enjoy many a sweet moment with Jesus in this room!

 Now for the Photo shoot:

Me and my Quiver full! How blessed I am!!!!

Can they Get any cuter?  Especially those yummy little piggies!

And the photo that is most descriptive of our normal state:

Papa Bear, baby bear and the cubs

Six Years of Grace

The day started out with these beautiful gerbera daisies from my wonderful husband! I can't decide if gerbera's or tulips are my favorite flower as "favorite" is a hard word for me that I do not like...it is so hard to choose just one and label it "favorite".  Thus Kenny fluctuates between the two as he knows I can't pick just one.  (One of my many quirks)  Thankful for a husband who loves me in spite of my quirks!
next we spent a few hours enjoying the beach with the grandparents and our cousin!  Hudson enjoyed the view of the ocean from his pack-n-play under an umbrella and was thoroughly peaceful!

Then we spent about an hour at the pool with the kiddos where Hudson got some play time! Then Kenny and I went out to dinner for our six year anniversary.  With three kids in our quiver it seems hard to believe we have only been married for six years.  My how kids change and mature you, they are an enormous part of God's grace to us as their arrival has only improved our marriage on many levels.  It has been a joy to watch Kenny grow in leadership over this past year and as his card I gave him said "Perfect Match.....Advantage: Me"

"FIRE!!!"

"Mamaw" came to town last night with our niece, Meile, and took us all out to one of those Japanese restaurants where the chef cooks right in front of you. And if you have ever been to one of these places, the chef squirts some stuff on the stove and causes a huge flame to burn on the surface (for effect). This was happening all over the restaurant at other tables and each time, Meile, Samara, and Naomi would scream, "FIRE!!!". Of course we drew several glances, and of course we were the loudest table, but for the most part they were the main attraction in this huge dining room, and that is saying something when the chefs are paid to entertain.

After dinner, Mamaw took all three girls back to her hotel room for a girls night out (in) party, where I am sure multiple suckers and treats were handed out.

Meile will be around alot today and tomorrow as Momaw is in town for meetings. This is great for Samara because they are really hitting it off. Stay posted, I am sure there will be some funny stories from this week together.... We will try to get some pictures of the cousins together.
